The CPE cycle runs from August 1 to July 31, with documentation due by May 31.

To remain eligible to judge USA Gymnastics-sanctioned events, all judges must complete

Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours annually.

Requirements are based on the judge’s rating as of July 31, and hours are tracked by actual time spent in approved activities. New judges who earn their rating after the start of the cycle aren’t required to report until the next year, but any hours earned can still count toward future requirements.
